April 21st 2012: Bala Kendra Bake Sale Venue: M A Center (SNACK TENT) Time: 6:00PM Contact: Priya Pillai Phone: 925-984-4678 We have another wonderful Seva opportunity coming up for our little ones - The MA Center Saturday night Bake Sale! Not only do all proceeds go to support Amma's Humanitarian activities, the Bake Sale also allows Ashram devotees who spend the day doing Seva to have a light snack before dinner. And most importantly the kids have a lot of fun with it as they get to help make the goodies and also serve (with parent assistance). Last years Bala Kendra Bake Sale was a huge success and we have another oppotunity for our little ones again on the 21st of April.Priya has created a signup sheet at the below site. Please go there to sign up for seva times and items to bring. ALL ITEMS NEED TO BE HOME MADE with the exception of Pizza, juice packets and Samosas. April 29th 2012: Kite flying & Holi Picnic Venue: M A Center Time: 10:30 AM-3:00 PM (Parking lot above the Meadow) Contact: Rajganesh Phone: 510-493-7779 Schedule: 10:30am: We will meet at the parking lot above the meadow, overlooking the lake. 10:30-12:00pm: Kite Flying and Games. Please bring your kites and string. 12:15-12:45pm: Holika burning, story and prayers. 12:45-1:30pm: No Dessert Potluck lunch. (Seperate Email to follow for Potluck coordination) 1:30-3:00pm: Playing Holi. Please bring your water guns. Plan on wearing old clothes since they will get stained and likely not be usable until next holi! Do bring a change of clothes.
